Luke Jerram's 'Sky Orchestra'
Artist Luke Jerram's ongoing research project aims to explore how we can perceive an 'artistic experience' while we are asleep in the comfort of our own homes in the morning. Results show that many people who have had the 'Sky Orchestra' above them sleep deeper and for longer. 7 balloons each play a different part of the musical score over various cities, whether it is ambient synthesised noises, whale calls, bird songs or classical music.

Final Dictionary Drawings
From being given the brief to design our own dictionary of 40 words on any subject we wanted, I decided that I wanted to use my hands and stay off the computer for a project, being fascinated by the culture in certain genres of metal of making the most illegible band logo possible I decided to chose my 40 words from songs of some of my favourite bands and from the actual band names themselves. I ended up with 40 pretty morbid words. I then started drawing a huge web that all the words would find themselves stuck in, the mesh of lines can make it impossible to find the word that you know is there, which is what I always enjoyed about these bands logos; having to decode it for yourself, and getting a kind of reward that you figured it out and now recognise the hidden letters, turning it into a game of sorts. .
